ADB is seeking a Fiber Optic DC Technician II to provide mid‑level ISP (inside plan) copper and fiber cable installations on a variety of projects nationwide. The Level II Technician has the technical knowledge, skills and experience to perform installations and removals of non‑powered equipment and basic cable installations. The ideal candidate will be customer and quality centric, have a complete buy‑in to safety, with a strong work ethic, and

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform mid‑level fiber and copper cable installation including termination, assembly, and dressing to satisfy customer requirements
Independently add and remove non‑powered cables and equipment following the scope of the project
Ability to add and remove customer equipment (racks, cabinets, etc.) from a variety of fixed locations such as walls, concrete floors and raised floors
Ability to test customer copper and fiber cables with various testing equipment to ensure proper functionality
Ability to read and understand construction prints and cable markings as well as create labels for installed equipment to ensure a satisfactory deliverable
Install cable pathways (i.e. J‑hooks, support rings, cable slings, cable trays, ladder racks, etc.) and ground/bond IT equipment to satisfy customer expectations and contribute to project success
Constantly assess potential safety hazards and adherence to all ADB and customer safety expectations
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This role will support ISP projects in a variety of customer facilities nationwide
Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions like sitting, squatting, standing, walking, climbing, etc.
May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels while onsite
When working on site, will be required to wear common protective safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel‑toed boots
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
1–3 years of cable installation experience required
Minimum of 1 manufacturer certification (i.e. CommScope, B‑Line, etc.) preferred but not required
Man lift certification and CPR certification preferred (ability to obtain upon hire required)
OSHA‑10 preferred (ability to obtain upon hire required)
High school diploma or equivalent required
The starting pay for this position is $26/hr and may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and qualifications.
