Memorial Medical Nursing & Rehabilitation is looking to fill a Business Development/Marketing Director position. Must have SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) experience.
Responsibilities
Perform assigned administrative duties in accordance with established procedures and as directed by your supervisor.
Assume the authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to carry out the duties of this department.
Responsible for monthly monitoring and tracking of the budget expenditures in the Admission and Hospitality departments.
Responsible for monitoring and tracking of monthly, quarterly, and annual census outcomes.
Confirm admissions or discharges each morning; update the discharge list on the census.
Email the updated census in the morning and upon any changes that may occur during the day.
Attend management meetings daily.
Handle admission inquiries, pass them to the DON, and forward information to the business office for insurance and payment status.
Provide professional responses to all inquiries and keep them tracked.
Coordinate transportation pick‑up times and notify admit nurses and hospitals.
Sign in residents and families, make copies, and maintain records.
Conduct facility tours, highlighting survey history, staffing ratios, and therapy outcomes.
Maintain rapport with discharge planners to facilitate admissions.
Coordinate resident admissions, ensuring all requirements are met.
Coordinate welcoming of new residents and families with the Hospitality Coordinator.
Develop and engage referral sources such as discharge planners, assisted living centers, and home health agencies.
Monitor competitor marketing and community involvement activities.
Coordinate public events in and out of the facility.
Notify residents’ families and the public of essential changes.
Participate in public, civic, and association events, especially those involving older adults.
Create a positive image of the facility in the community.
Support administration with media inquiries and questions.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
Completion of orientation required by company policy.
Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
Mandatory drug test upon hire.
Criminal background check; must be free of criminal activity.
Compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Proof of identity and eligibility for employment within three days of hire.
