Position Summary Your role as a Supervisor is to manage a group of Technicians and act as a liaison between management and field personnel by communicating objectives, providing support, managing tasks, and delivering and receiving maps. This role will report to the Field Operations Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
Monitor production and quality reporting of all Survey Technicians reporting to the Supervisor and work with Survey Technicians to improve any production or quality issues
Receive and respond to first line of technical support issues for Survey Technicians in the group and escalates to Field Operations Manager and/or Project Manager as needed
First pass QA/QC maps as they are turned in by Survey Technicians in the group
Track and manage distribution and collection of plat maps via MobileFrame and other tools
Manage new leaks that arise from the group
Utilize web maps to facilitate corrections as needed
Utilize FTP for accessing and uploading files, as necessary
Proactively report any issues observed with Survey Technicians to the Field Operations Manager and Project Manager
Manage inventory of equipment used by Survey Technicians in the group, including cones, signage, logo magnets, first aid kit, dog repellent spray, batteries, highlighters, and more
Ensure all safety requirements, policies, and procedures are followed and enforced, as necessary
Initiate written discipline
