Base pay range $70,000.00/yr – $80,000.00/yr
Purpose Support the International Programs Department of the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) in Dahlgren, VA by analyzing releasability and disclosure.
Job Description
Review technical documentation and training curriculum to determine releasability and disclosure based on country guidelines.
Apply releasability and disclosure processes and procedures, recommending release or disclosure of material.
Assist and provide guidance to the Foreign Disclosure Representative to implement foreign disclosure policy.
Prepare and present briefings on foreign disclosure procedures and processes.
Qualifications
High School diploma and at least 3 years’ experience and detailed knowledge of the Aegis Weapon System.
Three years experience with Navy Surface Combat Systems and foreign disclosure operations, and information security processes for classified material handling.
Knowledge of U.S. disclosure policies and guidance.
Identify, validate, support, and coordinate foreign disclosure review and releasability documentation.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with the U.S. Surface Combatant platforms and associated combat systems characteristics.
Shipboard experience operating and/or maintaining elements of the Aegis Weapon System.
Experience with Aegis Weapon System documentation, technical manuals, training materials, and curriculum.
Recommend releasability of intelligence information based on U.S. law, regulation, and policy.
Experience working with international programs and foreign disclosure and releasability processes.
Security Requirements Active DoD Secret security clearance.
Travel Requirements
Minimal travel required.
Candidate must obtain and maintain appropriate identification credentials such as REAL ID by start of position.
Physical Requirements
Stationary position, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
Move between work sites to accomplish tasks.
Communicate with others, repeating motions that may include wrists, hands, and fingers.
Subject to extreme cold/heat, noise, vibration, hazards, atmospheric conditions, work in close quarters, narrow aisles, or passageways.
