Aviation Project Manager/Design Manager – Alaska

Are you excited to lead complex aviation projects in an active airfield environment? As an integral part of Jacobs’ Northwest Aviation team, you will manage and guide a multidisciplinary design team to deliver high‑complexity projects from concept through detailed design and construction, ensuring schedules and budgets are met. Your work will impact the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of Alaska’s critical transportation infrastructure. Impact & Responsibilities

As a vital member of our Northwest Aviation team, you’ll have the chance to work on challenging projects in Alaska and beyond, where we’ll depend on your expertise, intuition, and leadership with planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of aviation projects. You’ll lead a multi‑discipline design team to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and help advance our business development strategies. What you’ll need (Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Alaska Professional Engineer License (P.E.) Demonstrated experience working on successful projects with public agencies At least 6 years of progressive experience as a design engineer, assistant project manager, design manager, or project manager in the airfield design/construction industry Ability to demonstrate Project Leadership experience Working knowledge of FAA design guidelines Ideal additional experience

Experience with multi‑discipline infrastructure engineering design and construction projects with an emphasis on airfield development and rehabilitation projects Previous work experience delivering projects under FAA AIP program requirements Previous work experience with navigating permitting agencies and requirements Compensation

Base pay range: $120,000.00 – $190,000.00 per year. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Benefits
