Perioperative Clinical Supply Technician

Shift: 40 hours a week rotational first shift

Responsibilities
Liaison between Central Supply and Operating Rooms (ORs) (for contaminations, missing items, reprocessing), supporting room/location level replenishment as standard work as well as ad hoc requests throughout the day as well as transporting carts/equipment from storage areas to rooms, and transport of vendor trays from Central Supply to OR and back
Responsible for daily/weekly cycle counts using Tecsys handheld scanners and for maintaining inventory accuracy.
Reviews daily orders and expresses issue and/or cancels any lines as required to the pick lists/supply orders.
Partners with system inventory analyst to manage and maintain local inventory data including maintenance of accurate bar code labeling of all items in storerooms and clinical areas.
Reviews cancelled backorders from automated supply cabinet orders and fills / expresses issue any lines as applicable on receipt of goods.
Assists Supply Chain Operations/Receiving staff with receiving issues and discrepancies for the facility including investigation and support of resolution of match exceptions due to missed receipts.
Resolves questions from internal customers regarding storeroom items. Resolves item number and requisition concerns for storeroom items.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
One Year Inventory Management experience in a Store Room or Warehouse setting.
