Responsibilities
Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
Provide a friendly atmosphere by greeting customers and focusing on their positive experience throughout their visit.
Take initiative to support store operations including operating equipment and cash register while ensuring speed of service and accurate transactions.
Keep the store looking fresh by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products or space within the store.
Perform routine housekeeping such as dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, and trash removal.
Seasonal position requires work during peak periods (e.g., semester starts and ends), occasional weekends, and flexibility to work periodically throughout the school year.
Physical Demands
Frequent movement within the store to access various departments or products.
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
Frequent lifting.
Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
Pay Transparency (New York) Pay: Seasonal Campus Retail Associate, $16.25 per hour.

Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
Flexible availability throughout the academic year, including peak periods.
