Accurate Job Reporting

Inspectors are responsible for clocking in and out of jobs and posting quantities accurately. This accountability ensures proper labor tracking, supports production planning, and maintains transparency throughout the manufacturing process.

Quality Inspector Level 1

Proficient in the reading and interpretation of manufacturing drawings for things such as but not limited to, dimensions, tolerances, notes, weld symbology.

Proficient in the use of measurement devices such as, tape measures, squares, levels, protractors, calipers, bore gauges, pin gauges, and GO-NO GO gauges with accuracy.

Has basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Competent in the conversion of Imperial and Metric dimensions.

Able to run CMM and capture data on all parts per company’s requirements.

Able to use and process part through inspection using the companies ERP system.

Proficient in the inspection of single pass welds for size and visual defects.

Maintains a clean and organized work area during shift and performs end of shift clean‑up activities to put away tools, equipment, materials, and supplies, cleaning machines, sweeping floor, and throwing out trash.

Performs any other duties or activities required by supervisors and managers.

Follows all company policies and safety guidelines.

Quality Inspector Level 2

Seasoned in the reading and interpretation of manufacturing drawings for things such as but not limited to, dimensions, tolerances, notes, and weld symbology, and can train others.

Expert in the use of measurement devices such as tape measures, squares, levels, protractors, calipers, bore gauges, pin gauges, and GO-NO GO gauges with accuracy, and can train and qualify other inspectors and manufacturing personnel.

Competent in the conversion of Imperial and Metric dimensions and can train others.

Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and able to select the correct tool and method for measuring all standard forms and location.

Able to run CMM and capture data on all parts and can train other inspectors.

Able to create simple CMM programs.

Competent in Mil thickness of powder-coated an wet painted products pre‑cure and post‑cure using rigid metal notched gauges, non-contact ultrasonic testers, and electronic coating gauges to verify quality.

Able to use and process part through inspection using the companies ERP system and can train other inspectors.

Skilled in the inspection of multi‑pass welds for size and all visual defect types.

Able to competently participate in the Root Cause Investigation and Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) process.

Proficient in the processing, storage and submittal of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and First Article (FA) documentation per customer and company requirements.

Maintains a clean and organized work area during shift and performs end of shift clean‑up activities to put away tools, equipment, materials, and supplies, cleaning machines, sweeping floor, and throwing out trash.

Performs any other duties or activities required by supervisors and managers.

Follows all company policies and safety guidelines.

Quality Inspector Level 3

Master in the use and training of measurement devices such as tape measures, squares, levels, protractors, calipers, bore gauges, pin gauges, and GO-NO GO gauges with accuracy.

Able to run CMM programs and capture all data and train other inspectors.

Proficient in the creation of highly complex CMM programs.

Highly proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) with certification, or equivalent combination of experience and demonstration of practical knowledge. Must be able to calculate and disposition more complex GD&T issues such as MMC, LMC and bonus tolerances.

Skilled in the inspection of all weld types for size and visual defects to the AWS standard, or customer specific standard when required.

Expert in the measurement of and can train others for Mil thickness inspection of powder-coated and wet painted products pre‑cure and post‑cure using rigid metal notched gauges, non-contact ultrasonic testers, and electronic coating gauges to verify quality.

Able to competently lead Root Cause Investigation and Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) process.

Proficient in the processing, storage and submittal of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and First Article (FA) documentation per customer and company requirements.

Responsible for maintaining and documenting the calibration and certification of measurement devices per company requirements.

Professionally communicates and meets with internal and external customers to resolve complex issues.

Responsible for daily planning and efficient execution of WIP inspections, final inspections and incoming inspections.

Maintains a clean and organized work area during shift and performs end of shift clean‑up activities to put away tools, equipment, materials, and supplies, cleaning machines, sweeping floor, and throwing out trash.

Performs any other duties or activities required by supervisors and managers.

Follows all company policies and safety guidelines.

Eyesight Requirement

Must be able to read a Jager Level 2 eye chart from 16 inches, with or without the use of prescriptive lenses.
