OVERVIEW The Operations Lead is a critical member of the store leadership team responsible for driving profitability and efficiency through coaching and operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead & execute inventory management processes with a focus on accuracy and reducing shrink.

Investigate and root‑cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the GM to address process or system gaps.

Manage execution of key operational functions: shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra‑day floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.

Champion strong visual standards for the sales floor.

Support a safe work environment and efficient operation through strong stockroom standards and processes.

Partner with the Operations & Visual Manager on reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.

Leverage metrics to support business‑driving strategies.

Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team and guests.

Lead by example, inspire staff, and oversee recruitment and development of Operations Associates.

Use performance tools to evaluate associates and provide feedback for growth.

Collaborate with Visual Lead and Sales & Service Lead to ensure cross‑functional training and execution.

Execute company‑level operations‑focused directives, projects, and initiatives in partnership with the Operations & Visual Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of client‑centric, sales‑environment experience.

Proven leadership with excellent decision‑making.

Values feedback, receptive to receiving and eager to provide.

High energy, upbeat, enthusiastic, with the ability to integrate fun and work.

Self‑motivated and results‑driven, both individually and as a team.

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Alignment with and embodiment of ALO’s Guiding Principles.

Job Level: Associate.

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION The role is full‑time (32–40 hours per week). Full‑time employees are expected to have open availability and to work variable shifts, including peak days and weekends. All employees must be able to work during the company’s blackout period from the week of American Thanksgiving through the first week of January.
