Within Capital One, the Regulatory Affairs function manages interactions with Federal Banking Regulators and advises senior management on supervision and evolving regulatory policy matters. We seek a Manager to play an integral role in ensuring timely commitments to regulators and proactively responding to regulatory changes.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
Support Regulatory Affairs liaisons managing interactions with Federal Regulatory Supervisory staff, coordinating meetings and preparing stakeholders.
Lead coordination of all logistical aspects of examinations and ongoing supervision (primarily focused on risk management, cyber, and technology), ensuring meetings, capturing notes, tracking document requests, and timely submission of high‑quality deliverables.
Support development of well‑structured, accurate drafts of regulatory deliverables, including periodic supervisory reporting.
Monitor concurrent priorities, manage multiple tasks in parallel, exercising sound judgement when issues can be resolved autonomously versus when leadership engagement is needed.
Share insights and context gained from regulatory engagements with the Regulatory Affairs team to inform ongoing work.
Monitor corrective actions and ensure they are on‑track for appropriate and timely mitigation.
Support advocacy efforts by researching and analyzing new regulatory and supervisory policy developments.
Basic Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in banking or financial services, operational or enterprise risk management, audit, consulting, regulatory agencies, or a combination.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in risk management, audit, consulting or a combination.
At least 5 years of experience in compliance, legal, or a combination.
At least 4 years of experience working in banking and financial services.
At least 3 years of experience supporting integrated projects or programs where senior leaders and external stakeholders are customers.
At least 3 years of experience in vertically integrated industries.
At least 3 years of experience working with banking regulators and regulatory policy.

The minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role are listed below by location:
Chicago, IL: $132,800 - $151,600 – Risk Manager
McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 – Risk Manager
New York, NY: $159,400 - $181,900 – Risk Manager
Richmond, VA: $132,800 - $151,600 – Risk Manager
Earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI).
