Field Technician / Mechanic
Location: PAPE’S MACHINERY, INC. – CONSTRUCTION & FORESTRY DIVISION – MAUI, HI

What you’ll do As our Field Technician / Mechanic, you will work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to keep it running at peak performance and maximize uptime. You’ll travel the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, perform top‑notch work on equipment, interact with customers, and deliver reliable service.
Note: This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
What you need
5 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment
Basic computer knowledge
Self‑motivation
Ability to work under little or no supervision
Excellent communication and customer‑relations skills
Class 4 driver’s license with a good driving record
Must provide own tools
Compensation Hourly rate: $37.92 /hr (depending on experience) (Covered by a collective bargaining agreement)
