Heavener, Oklahoma 2nd Shift: 2pm - 11pm Monday - Friday Targeting $70k +/- depending on experience.
A well-established, fully integrated food processing operation is looking for a Refrigeration Supervisor to support its 2nd shift operations. Supervise a team of 7 and oversee the maintenance and repairs of ammonia refrigeration systems.
Position Overview The Production Supervisor reports to the Shift Manager and is responsible for managing all activities on the assigned production line. This includes driving safety, quality, yield, and efficiency while maintaining compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise a Refrigeration Lead and a team of 6 Technicians.
Maintain temperature to plant specifications and USDA requirements.
Maintain and upkeep all cooling and air handling machinery.
Maintain accurate records.
Adhere to preventative maintenance (PM) schedules for equipment.
Train and supervise employees.
Consistently maintain critical temperature requirements throughout the facility.
Enforce safety rules.
Maintain government regulations regarding ammonia refrigeration systems.
Maintain Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance.
Drive a vehicle for company business purposes.
Pass a background investigation.
This is a safety-sensitive position.
Education & Experience
4+ years of refrigeration experience with ammonia refrigeration regulatory knowledge.
Experience overseeing teams of 7+ employees.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Food-processing environment experience is strongly preferred.
