Civil Core Consulting is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead and collaborate on land development projects from concept through completion. The role combines hands‑on design work with team leadership to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Manage engineering projects and lead project teams.
Prepare and review site plans, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater, and permitting documents.
Perform design tasks, flood studies, and complex calculations.
Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
Prepare proposals, reports, and correspondence.
Mentor and train staff, fostering team development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field; PE preferred.
6–12 years’ experience in civil/land development engineering.
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, grading, stormwater management, and hydraulic/hydrologic software (HydraFlow, HydroCAD, StormCAD, HEC‑HMS/RAS).
Knowledge of local land use processes and regulations (NY/NJ preferred).
Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
