Experienced Automotive Service Technician

Base Pay Range $75,000.00/yr – $150,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
Performs work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards
Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning
Communicates directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needed and provides an estimate of time required for repairs
Executes warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
2+ years of Service Technician experience required
ASE Certification required
Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent
Excellent customer service skills
Basic computer skills
Positive, friendly attitude with a customer‑service‑centric mentality
Enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Team player
Must have a valid driver’s license
Strong math, reading, and computer skills
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications; able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Ensures customers’ cars are kept clean
