Colorado Neurological Clinic
Colorado Neurological Clinic is an independent general neurology practice specializing in Alzheimer’s and Dementia care, Migraine and Headache management, EMG, and Multiple Sclerosis treatment. The clinic is also involved in clinical trials for conditions such as Agitation Associated with Alzheimer’s Disease, Mild Cognitive Impairment with Mild to Moderate Alzheimer’s Disease, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP), migraines, and Multiple Sclerosis therapies. Patients can receive care from our team of five experienced providers. Located in Denver and Colorado Springs, the clinic is dedicated to advancing neurological care and improving patient outcomes through innovative therapies and personalized treatment plans.
Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Medical Assistant at our Denver, CO location. The Medical Assistant will ensure a pleasant patient experience; diligently oversee referrals, orders, and prescription refills; and support various medical procedures. Our team is a close‑knit group who work hard and have fun. Many past medical assistants have gone on to graduate programs in healthcare, including medical school, PA schools, and nursing. We’re looking for motivated individuals who seek to gain as much from the experience as they are willing to put in. We do not require a medical assistant certification.
Qualifications
Liaise between provider and patients and insurance companies
Ability to provide compassionate patient care and excellent interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently
Familiarity with medical office operations, including appointment scheduling and administrative tasks
Experience handling Medical Records with attention to accuracy and confidentiality to HIPAA compliance
Bachelor’s degree. Scientific background preferred
Proficiency in medical assisting and experience with clinical procedures
Prior experience in a neurology or healthcare clinic setting is an advantage
