SGMC Health is seeking an experienced sonographer for the SONOGRAPHER III, ULTRASOUND role at our Main Campus.

Schedule Full Time, 7on/7off, 9p-7a Tues-Fri, 7p-7a Sat/Sun, 9p-7a Mon
Position Summary Performs routine and special ultrasound imaging, including vascular and arterial studies. Provides initial interpretation and evaluation of procedures, assists in ultrasound-guided biopsies and interventional procedures, and operates equipment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Certification: ARRT or RDMS; Vascular certification required (RVT, VS, RVS).
Minimum 2 years experience as Staff Ultrasound Technologist or equivalent.
Effective communication with diverse patient populations.
Strong clinical skills and ability to maintain quality standards.
Knowledge of regulatory agencies’ standards and reimbursement rules.
Flexibility in work schedule, assignments and workload.
Working Conditions Sitting, standing, stooping, bending, lifting (exceed 50 lbs), pushing objects. Irregular schedules, weekends, exposure to communicable diseases, high levels of stress.
