Position is responsible for a variety of warehouse duties including packing, pulling/checking customer orders, replenishment, supply of material to production lines, shipping and receiving materials and material handling and completing all required paperwork in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Unloads goods and material received, enters appropriate information into system, labels and locates material.
Assembles Gaylord boxes using automated box building equipment.
Separates customer orders, pulls and stages orders, repacks material if required to meet customer specifications.
Ensures all products are properly labeled.
May perform functions/transactions in designated system to receive or ship material.
May participate in cycle counting, entering and verifying information.
Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations, maintaining departmental housekeeping standards.
Drives forklifts and/or track mobiles.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Forklift Operators License.
Previous warehouse and/or shipping/receiving experience.
Previous computer and/or data entry experience.
Conditions Work in plant floor environment. Temperature conditions can vary significantly. Work 8‑hour shifts (6:30 a.m. – 2:50 p.m.). Must stand/walk most of the work time and/or sit/drive forklift. Job duties range from manual labor, to troubleshooting, and use of computerized equipment. Use of heavy motorized equipment including but not limited to fork trucks and/or track mobiles.
