$19.00/hr - $25.00/hr Position Overview
As a Maintenance Technician, you are the hero of our property. You are essential to keeping our community running smoothly and ensuring our residents have a safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained place to call home. This position will be required to respond to after‑hours on‑call maintenance emergencies on a rotating schedule. Key Responsibilities
Repairs & Maintenance: Perform a wide range of hands‑on maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting to resolve resident work orders and keep the property in excellent condition. Unit Turnover (Make‑Ready): Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing all necessary repairs, painting, and fixture installations to ensure a quality move‑in experience. Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds to identify and address issues proactively. Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to residents, communicating professionally and completing service requests in a timely and efficient manner. Qualifications
1-2+ years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a residential or similar setting. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation. Ability to participate in a rotating on‑call schedule for after‑hours emergencies. The physical ability to lift over 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions. For higher levels (II, III, IV): Advanced experience (3‑6+ years) and/or specialized certifications (HVAC, Electrical, etc.) are highly desirable and will be considered for higher‑level positions and pay.
