Employer: Velocity Maintenance Solutions LLC; Employment type: Full‑time; Shift: 2nd Shift Sunday to Wednesday; Location: KTEB; occasional local and regional travel; flexible on‑call schedule; Remote/TEB Based.
Job Description
Perform AOG maintenance on corporate and general aviation aircraft.
Maintain accurate work order, RTS paperwork, and Velocity work order system.
Adhere to Velocity Maintenance Solution’s policies, FAA regulations, and manufacturer’s maintenance manuals.
Document maintenance discrepancies and provide detailed reports to shift turnover log.
Qualifications
3‑5 years aircraft maintenance experience, A&P license required.
FAR 135/145 knowledge and ability to interpret maintenance manuals.
Knowledge of FAA regulations, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Adobe), and aircraft technical data.
Effective communication skills in English, teamwork, and positive attitude.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, weekends, and days off.
Physical Requirements
Willingness to work on elevated platforms (up to 40 feet) using fall protection safety gear.
Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods while performing repairs.
Physical ability to climb, stoop, stretch, walk, stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds.
Proficiency in operating basic hand tools and ground equipment.
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Non‑Physical Requirements
Aptitude for learning and utilizing technical manuals.
Strong mechanical skills and effective problem‑solving abilities.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting maintenance, wiring, and illustrated parts manuals.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication with colleagues and customers.
Ability to perform repairs effectively and quickly in high‑pressure situations.
Competence in inputting and retrieving information from computers; experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Willingness to travel to various locations, regardless of weather conditions, for repair work.
Capability to work independently with minimal/no supervision.
Education and Experience
Airframe and Powerplant License required.
Minimum of 3+ years aircraft maintenance experience required.
Previous corporate aviation experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
