Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy American Heart Association BLS, 2 years of recent relevant experience General Diagnostic Sonographer Contract Details
$1,700 - $1,866 per week 12-week contract with possibility to extend NOC shifts available Hospital setting Key Responsibilities
Operate imaging equipment and review images to ensure quality and diagnostic usefulness. Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary to physicians, and alert them to urgent problems. Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam. Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility. What We Offer
