Location Muscle Shoals is the music city of Alabama. Muscle Shoals is located on the left bank of the Tennessee River in the northern part of the state. Spend your off days exploring the restaurants with live music, boating on the surrounding rivers, or hiking to see the scenic waterfalls.
Overview / Department Summary At North Alabama Shoals hospital our Medsurg/Detox team is staffed 24/7 with physicians, nurses and staff who are trained in providing quality care. Our team combines advanced training with compassionate service to be ready for you or your family when you need it the most.

Responsibilities
Will be responsible and accountable for providing and coordinating patient care.
Identifies and addresses patient's needs and priorities through assessment, planning and collaboration with other health care providers.
Will execute physician orders and supervise the implementation of nursing interventions.
Will advocate for the patient representing the patient's interests when illness prevents an individual from being physically or emotionally able to express their own feelings or thoughts.
Will be responsible to care through the outcomes of clinical results, patient satisfaction and acceptable cost.
You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should have a current state LPN license.
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.
Requires at least one year of work experience. Greater than 2 years preferred.
Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand).
Ability to successfully complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.
