The Pricing & Promotions Specialist is responsible for execution of promotional strategy for maurices. Key Responsibilities
Owns execution of all promotional offers in promotional system (XCC) including event creation and testing. Understands the functions of the promotional system (XCC). Understands the merchandise product hierarchy to ensure proper execution of promotional inclusion and exclusion needs. Ensures all relevant information is gathered from cross‑functional partners (including Planning, Marketing, Visual). Identifies and escalates any promotional issues during set up & testing, including cross‑functional collaboration for resolution. Attends all key in‑season promotional meetings and follows any promotional communication updates to accurately execute critical updates and ensure the promotional calendar is executed as intended. Collaborates with cross‑functional partners on any promotional issues that are discovered through IT ticket escalation process and ensures resolution. Identifies and escalates any process pain points. Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience
Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a Pricing/Promotions or operations role preferred. Strong demonstrated organization. Prior experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment preferred. Basic experience with Excel. Experience setting up promotions in XCC comparable system is a plus. Skills/Traits
Highly detail‑oriented. Collaborative nature, ability to drive cross‑functional projects. Strong initiative. Loves problem solving. Solid understanding of retail math. Team player with proven ability to drive a cross‑functional project. Strong communication skills. Location
