What We Ask Of You
Physically able to climb to heights in excess of 300 feet daily
Can work in all weather conditions year‑round
Have some construction and/or electrical experience
Enjoy working with your hands
Enjoy constant travel and willing to live life on the road with 6‑week travel rotations followed by a 7‑10 day break (travel expenses covered)
Job Responsibilities
Follow all safety rules and regulations
Install/replace/repair antenna system equipment
Distribute/pick‑up/organize tools and materials
Install/modify/mount platforms
Identify/fix problems using test equipment
Work with a team
Perform tower structure inspection
Climb and work on communications towers for installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems, performing tower maintenance under close supervision
Basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment
Read site plans and tower drawings
Understand hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near energized lines and equipment
Complete necessary training and certifications (see below)
Training & Certifications
Competent Climber/Rescuer
Competent Rigger
OSHA 10 & OSHA 30
First Aid/AED/CPR
RF Awareness
Hazard Communications
Bloodborne Pathogens
Capstan Hoist/Base Mounted Hoist/Ginpole Principles
Kaleus/Anritsu/Exfo Training
