Fluidstack
Program Capacity Analyst
Fluidstack is building the infrastructure for abundant intelligence, partnering with top AI labs, governments, and enterprises to unlock compute at the speed of light.
This role supports capacity planning and management programs to ensure our datacenter infrastructure supply meets customer demand for compute, storage, and high-performance networking.
You’ll focus on data analysis, forecasting, and building tools to help the team make better decisions about capacity, cost, and risk. You’ll work closely with the Program Capacity Lead and cross‑functional teams to turn data into clear insights and actionable plans for billions in infrastructure investment.
Key Responsibilities
Support end‑to‑end capacity planning for compute servers, networking equipment, and datacenter facilities (power, cooling, space).
Build, maintain, and improve demand models and short‑ and long‑term forecasts using rigorous quantitative methods.
Analyze demand signals from engineering, product, and sales to refine forecasts and highlight trends, anomalies, and risks.
Translate capacity forecasts into clear analytical outputs that support supply plans for hardware procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and datacenter deployment.
Identify capacity risks (e.g., supply shortages, deployment delays, technology transitions) through data analysis and help develop mitigation and contingency scenarios.
Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards and reporting tools for internal teams and leadership, tracking KPIs such as forecast accuracy, delivery performance, and capacity utilization.
Prepare analysis, reports, and slide materials for internal reviews, stakeholder meetings, and executive updates led by the Program Capacity Lead.
Partner with Finance and other teams to provide data‑driven inputs for budget planning, financial modeling, and cost optimization.
Clearly explain methodologies, assumptions, and findings to non‑technical stakeholders across the business, ensuring decisions are grounded in data.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Supply Chain, Operations Research, etc.) or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in an analytical role such as data analyst, business analyst, capacity planning analyst, supply chain analyst, or similar.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with hands‑on experience in forecasting, demand planning, statistical analysis, or similar data‑driven work.
Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language for data analysis (Python or R), including data cleaning, transformation, and exploratory analysis.
Experience building and maintaining dashboards or reports in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
Ability to clearly communicate analytical approaches, assumptions, and insights to non‑technical stakeholders (written and verbal), and to structure findings into clear recommendations.
Strong attention to detail and fast learner, comfortable working with large and complex datasets, and able to manage multiple analyses in a fast‑paced environment.
Nice to Haves
Experience working with capacity planning, supply chain, infrastructure planning, or operations in a technology, cloud, or datacenter environment, or strong interest in learning quickly.
Familiarity with datacenter infrastructure concepts (servers, storage, networking, power, cooling) or a strong interest in learning them quickly.
Experience partnering with cross‑functional teams (engineering, product, finance, supply chain, operations) to deliver analytical insights that drive decisions.
Experience interfacing directly with external customers or partners (e.g., presenting analysis, answering technical questions).
Experience building more advanced models (time series forecasting, scenario modeling, optimization) to support planning decisions.
Comfort working in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments and iterating quickly based on feedback.
Salary & Benefits
Base pay range: $125,000 – $185,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
