Mid-Senior Systems Engineer – TriVector Services, Inc.

Responsibilities Provide systems engineering and technical integration support to various Systems Engineering & Integration Organizations at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). Support NASA programs such as Human Landing System, Space Launch System, Gateway, EVA and Human Surface Mobility, Surface Habitats, Commercial Crew, and Commercial Low Earth Orbit Development.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must be a US Citizen.
Must have a STEM Degree.
Candidate must have at least 15 years of applicable experience.
Experience with implementing the systems engineering "V" model is required.
Technical integration and leadership across multiple engineering disciplines is a requirement.
Candidate must have shown leadership of technical teams in the planning, execution and on‑time completion of design analysis cycles and trade studies.
Experience managing requirements or interface definitions is required.
Candidate must have experience with test campaign planning and execution, including familiarity with establishing hardware qualification and acceptance test planning.
Experience reviewing spaceflight hardware verification documentation is required.
Proficiency in Doors Next Generation (DNG), MagicDraw, Jira, Cameo, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
Candidate must have problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Candidate must have the ability to present data to Senior Program Managers.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Spaceflight Hardware is desired.
Experience implementing systems engineering principles in a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment to develop system‑of‑systems requirements via system/component trade studies and analysis is a plus.
Experience analyzing and documenting system‑of‑system behaviors to meet emerging needs using MBSE tools and principles is desired.
Able to provide SE&I expertise and integration support through Digital engineering, MBSE, Functional Decomposition and mission model, Concept of operations, Requirements definition and traceability, Verification and validation, Physical Architecture Integration, Integration and discipline experts, T&V and Integrated design certification.
Experience working with international partners and/or commercial providers is a plus.
