Attorneys
in the Appellate Division, 2nd Judicial Department in Westchester County, NY. The positions will be filled in one of the following titles and will be dependent upon the qualifications and experience of the applicant selected:
Principal Attorney, Associate Attorney, Senior Attorney, or Attorney.
Applicants should specify the position title or titles for which they wish to be considered. Key Responsibilities: The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of the attorney disciplinary process. Managing a significant caseload. Conducting complex investigations. Performing legal research. Conducting examinations under oath. Litigating cases before Special Referees. Extensive writing is involved, in the form of confidential memoranda, petitions, motions and legal briefs. Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – are required, as well as the ability to handle sensitive matters in a confidential manner. Qualifications: Principal Attorney:
Admission to the New York State Bar and two (2) years of service in the Associate Attorney title; or equivalent legal experience. Associate Attorney:
Admission to the New York State Bar and two (2) years of service in the Senior Attorney title; or equivalent legal experience.
Base Salary:
$110,853 + $4,920 Location Pay Senior Attorney:
Admission to the New York State bar and two (2) years of service in the Attorney title; or equivalent legal experience.
Base Salary:
$99,490 + $4,920 Location Pay Attorney:
