Family Law Associate Attorney

About the Role You will handle a variety of family law matters, including divorce, custody, and child and spousal support. The position involves direct client communication, drafting pleadings and legal documents, attending mediations, taking and defending depositions, and appearing in court. The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment while working collaboratively with the team.
Compensation and Benefits Annual compensation ranges from $92,000 to $135,000. This range, presented as a reliable estimate of the base salary plus potential bonuses based on billable hours that this individual is expected to receive, will be adjusted based on experience, billable hour expectations, and other job‑related factors as permitted by law. Full‑time employees are eligible for health insurance, dental insurance, vision care, vacation, sick time, and reimbursement for relevant CLEs.
Required Qualifications
Active admission to, and in good standing with, the Texas State Bar
1–5 years of family law experience preferred, or 2–6 years of civil litigation experience
Strong legal writing and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client‑focused approach
Experience tracking billable hours in case management software
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish and/or Hindi
Experience practicing in Travis County and contiguous counties
Familiarity with Westlaw, eFile Texas, and Odyssey
