Job Summary The technology department is seeking employees who are interested in performing entry level information technology duties to be members of our support team.

Essential Functions

Focus on desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, tablets and peripherals such as printers, carts and charging stations to complete the following tasks:

Unpacking and prepping systems for installation.

Installing, reimaging, configuring and deploying systems.

Relocating systems to alternative sites, cleaning and setting them up in new locations.

Removing and recycling old systems.

Asset management and associated inventory and security tasks.

Troubleshooting and assessing system operational ability.

Documentation of tasks and ability to follow procedures and workflow.

Communicate with fellow technicians, users and service manager in an open, consistent and transparent manner.

These positions will work on teams and will report to team leads most of the time, but also capable of working independently with limited direction.

Enjoy working in small teams and constantly changing work locations and environments.

Work Environment and Physical Activity Work is performed in an environment where unusual temperature, noise and hazards could be present.

Qualifications / Skills

Must be at least 18 years old, negative TB test required.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to above head height.

Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch consistently throughout the work day.

Ability to move and complete work, requires moderate intermittent physical strength and effort daily.

Ability to consistently, throughout an 8‑hour day – stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, pull, push, walk, stand, sit and use of hands for fine manipulation during normal performance of tasks and responsibilities.

Ability to climb ladders and stairs while carrying equipment.

Ability to travel from building to building, as needed.

Ability to regularly talk and hear.

Ability to see and routinely read documents for general understanding and for analytical purposes.

Ability to determine color differences when assembling/servicing equipment.

Strong technical, analytical and computer skills.

Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in a team.

Have a willingness to learn and have a positive attitude.

Deliver outstanding customer service.

Able to work at least 40 hours a week and preferably over time, as needed.

Evaluation Performance of this job will be evaluated regularly on staff ability to meet defined goals.

Experience This is an excellent entry level position for anyone wanting to begin a career in Technology support.
