Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance duties such as replacing valves, pumps, motors, gear reducers.
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment packaging equipment (labelers, rotary & in‑line fillers, in‑line cappers, jet printers, cartoners, bundlers, sleevers, heat tunnels, case sealers).
Disassemble and assemble electric motors, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Repair machinery and conveyor belts.
Utilize basic electrical knowledge.
Maintain technical and professional knowledge.
Perform miscellaneous duties as required for plant maintenance.
Basic machinist experience using lathe & mill is a plus.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience in the cosmetics, food or pharmaceutical industry.
Proficient in English communication.
In‑depth knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical processes.
Ability to read and work from mechanical and electrical drawings.
Knowledge and skill to use a variety of hand and power tools and shop tools.
Analytically oriented to troubleshoot and establish root causes of problems.
Willing to work overtime and be on call for off‑hours emergencies.
Must have own tools.
Bilingual English/Spanish helpful but not mandatory.
