This position is located in Phoenix or Miami.

Role Overview

Support complex construction dispute resolution engagements and provide strategic advisory services to Fortune 500 clients, government agencies, and major capital project stakeholders

Responsibilities

Support detailed analyses of project schedule delays, cost overruns, productivity, contracts, change orders and other issues related to design and construction

Assist in research and analysis of project cost records and financial statements

Reconcile claim amounts to accounting systems and to insurers' calculations

Use Ankura’s proprietary tools and industry standards in the development of claim methodology and work product

Develop computer models of schedules, contractor production rates and costs using Primavera P6 and other software packages

Assist with data gathering activities including document review, and quality control of data entry activities

Demonstrating proper documentation of work product

Limited engagement planning, which may include proposals, budgeting and budget tracking, and work tasks development

Coordinating administrative functions, including time tracking and bill preparation

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field from an accredited institution; Advanced degree preferred

Business‑level fluency in both Spanish and English required

2+ years of disputes/claims experience in the construction and engineering industries

Experience in damages and investigative work focused on contractual disputes, claims, and litigation

Proficiency with Primavera Project Planner and project scheduling technique experience is highly preferred

Industry experience with project controls/scheduling is a benefit
