Customer Service Engineer I – MRI – Tampa, FL

Service area: Tampa, FL. Shift requirements (after onboarding/training): Monday‑Friday 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
Responsibilities
Servicing MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) systems.
Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthineers equipment.
Delivering timely repairs and training operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction.
Managing financial performance within your territory through inventory management, time management, and timely service call closure.
Managing company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.
Establishing and maintaining proper business relationships with customers and peers, and performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
Qualifications
Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on medical imaging equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
Ability to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform necessary administrative duties accurately.
Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency in using tools and service test equipment.
General understanding of principles of electricity, power supplies, and grounding.
Required Skills
Minimum high school diploma; technical degree, military training, or equivalent applicable training preferred.
Must be proficient in using tools and service test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, torque wrenches, etc.).
Ability to work individually and in a team setting.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
1+ years’ experience in complex electro‑mechanical, or as a medical technologist or field service engineer servicing diagnostic instruments.
Valid driver’s license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.
Physical requirements: lifting 50 lbs, walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high‑reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.
Highly organized and able to plan.
Compensation and Benefits Base pay range: $50,210 – $69,036. Factors such as geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications may affect starting pay within this range. If commission eligible, commission terms per company plan apply.
