This range is provided by CFS. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Range: $110,000 – $130,000 + Bonus
Location: Maitland, FL (Hybrid/Onsite)

Primary Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller
Oversee the month-end and quarter-end close processes for timely and accurate reporting
Review and approve complex reconciliations, journal entries, and schedules
Maintain general ledger integrity across several entities and business units
Lead preparation of consolidated financial statements and reporting packages
Work with leadership on acquisition-related integration and accounting alignment
Strengthen internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures
Support forecasting and budgeting by providing variance insights and accounting analysis
Manage audit deliverables and communication with external auditors
Train and mentor accounting staff, providing leadership and oversight
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve systems, and enhance financial accuracy
What the Company Is Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred
5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience (Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, etc.)
Strong technical accounting ability, including GAAP, consolidations, and multi‑entity reporting
Experience within a PE‑backed, high‑growth, or acquisitive organization preferred
Advanced Excel proficiency and comfort working with large data sets
Proven leadership ability with staff supervision experience
Effective communicator capable of working cross‑functionally and presenting to leadership
Hands‑on, process‑oriented mindset with focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
