Job Description As a Relationship Banker, you will represent our brand and culture with hospitality, using the latest banking solutions and cutting‑edge financial technology combined with friendly service. You will play a leading role in acquiring, managing, and retaining meaningful relationships with clients, offering thoughtful solutions to address their financial needs.
Job Responsibilities
Put clients first and exceed their expectations by delivering attentive and friendly service.
Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them in person and over the phone to build lasting relationships and tailor product recommendations.
Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients.
Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs.
Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to consult clients about banking solutions and connect them to our team of experts.
Adhere to policies, procedures and regulatory banking requirements.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
Ability to create memorable client experiences and elevate the client experience.
Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits to clients with differing needs.
Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail.
Operate within established risk parameters and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including required training.
High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
Completion of Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and life licenses. Unlicensed applicants must obtain these licenses through JPMorganChase’s licensing program within 180 days of hire.
Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
College degree or military equivalent.
Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Dodd‑Frank/Truth in Lending Act Requirements This position is subject to Dodd‑Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment is contingent on a review of your criminal history, credit report, NMLS information, and other relevant data. Any felony conviction within the last seven years disqualifies you. Compliance with SAFE Act, NMLS registration and renewal is required immediately after hire.
