What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Manage the loan processing and closing process for SBA 7(a), Express, and 504 government guaranteed loans

Review loan packages for completeness and compliance with SBA and internal policies

Coordinate communications between borrowers, internal staff, and third-party service providers

Prepare and review necessary legal documents and ensure compliance with loan approval terms

Monitor loan packages throughout the closing process to mitigate risks and protect the employer's interests

What is Required (Qualifications)

High School Diploma or GED

Six (6) years of SBA closing experience or equivalent work experience

Advanced knowledge of commercial credit, loan closing, and legal documentation

Expertise in reviewing insurance, title work, and collateral documentation

Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with commercial loan systems

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Advanced knowledge of SBA's SOP requirements and regulations

Specialized training in title, real estate, and government programs

Experience with nCino or related Salesforce platforms

Familiarity with SBA systems such as ETran and SBA One

Bachelor's degree or certification as a paralegal
