About The Role As a Removal/Bond Attorney, you will represent clients in high-stakes removal and bond proceedings, develop creative legal strategies, appear for court, interviews, ICE presentations in NJ, NY and PA, and work closely with a committed team that values collaboration as much as results. What You'll Do
Represent clients in EOIR removal and bond hearings
File motions, briefs, and appeals before EOIR, BIA, and federal courts
Communicate clearly and compassionately with detained clients and their families
Participate in AOS interviews and SIJS hearings
Develop innovative litigation strategies based on in-depth legal research
Collaborate with case managers and legal assistants to build strong cases
Maintain organized, timely, and compliant case records and deadlines
Requirements
A licensed attorney in U.S. (New Jersey Bar Member)
1-3 years of experience in removal defense and bond representation
Bilingual in English and Spanish (strongly preferred)
Based in New Jersey with the ability to appear in person for court, client meetings, ICE presentations in NJ, NY and PA
A strong writer, confident litigator, and tireless advocate
Deeply aligned with immigrant rights and social justice
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
To have a reliable vehicle is a must
