Oversee and evaluate logistics, warehouses, and transportation activities. Support your direct supervisor in detecting opportunities for logistics. The experienced operations senior analyst will monitor safe and efficient operations, enhance procedural systems and principles in information flow, management, business processes, and management reporting, and look for opportunities to expand systems. You will verify company policies and applicable laws implementations and support all operations between Asia and Latin America (Central America, Caribbean, Mexico, Colombia & Argentina) by developing and supporting process implementation, planning and inventory management practices that ultimately lead to best‑in‑class supply chain operations, decreases in inventory levels, stock‑outs and working capital, while increasing fill rates, inventory turns and material availability.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Distribution
Oversee all Distribution Center (DC) operations end‑to‑end, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and audits.
Ensure adherence to the Inventory Cycle Count policy.
Consolidate and present monthly DC KPIs at the regional level for global meetings.
Oversee and update LATAM DC footprint 3‑year strategy (Quarterly) and support DC contract updates/renewals.
Support IT initiatives such as EDI implementation and WMS/SAP integration.
Monitor monthly and annual expenses against budget and prior year benchmarks.
Track weekly and monthly case volumes, including inbound/outbound flows and DC capacity versus plan.
Forecast DC volume capacity in CBM and pallet positions.
Monitor DC performance and issue timely alerts when deviations occur.
Collaborate with countries and global teams to drive standardization and alignment with corporate strategies.
Transportation
Manage all transportation processes end‑to‑end, including ocean freight, drayage, and outbound deliveries.
Ensure compliance with the 35‑day advance booking KPI for ocean freight.
Conduct weekly reviews of regional bookings for Pingshan‑DC shipments.
Track weekly vendor alignment (e.g., via OOR).
Monitor monthly transportation KPIs across regional, country, and vendor levels.
Ensure timely and accurate GTNexus milestone uploads.
Support IT initiatives including EDI, TMS/SAP integration, and GTNexus vendor onboarding.
Develop and manage monthly container volume forecasts per lane, ensuring MQC alignment, weekly balancing, and timely global submission.
Prepare and present transportation KPIs and regional performance summaries for global meetings.
Monitor transportation expenses monthly and annually against budget and prior year (ocean freight; drayage; outbound deliveries).
Provide visibility into ocean transportation performance per destination, including boarding times, ocean transit time, and port‑to‑DC time.
Collaborate with country and global teams to ensure standardization and alignment.
Trade Compliance
Oversee trade compliance KPIs and prepare regional summaries for global reporting.
Track trade‑related expenses monthly and annually versus budget and prior year.
Support landed cost calculations and ensure timely annual updates for costing accuracy.
Partner with country and global teams to maintain compliance and drive process standardization.
Education and Experience Profile
Bachelor’s degree in business or industrial engineering.
Master’s degree in business preferred.
5+ years logistics and operation environment.
Required Skills
Proficient in standard business office software.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
SAP skills required, advanced level preferred.
Microsoft Office advanced (advanced Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of how to run reports and ability to prepare PPT presentations for regional meetings.
Knowledge of transportation and warehouse operations processes.
Proven ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion.
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with internal process partners.
Able to perform financial calculations and create and manage budgets.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
