Job Description As the Director of Catering and Conference Services you will have the opportunity to create memorable experiences for our guests. This role has oversight of the Catering team and Conference Services team. The Director is responsible for the coordination of conference and meeting groups and optimization of catering sales to achieve guest satisfaction in accordance with Noble House service and sustainability standards. This role will ensure stellar service is received by all guests for maximum re-booking achievement and upsell for profitability and memorable experiences. This is a highly visible role in which you directly impact the guests visit and have the ability to create memories that will last a lifetime!
Responsibilities
Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with Noble House core values.
Plan and conduct pre and post-convention meetings with clients and respective departments.
Establish rapport with and entertain meeting planners while promoting hotel facilities and services.
Conduct walking site inspections throughout property.
Monitor in-house group activity, providing assistance as needed.
Communicate with sales, front office and reservations in order to coordinate and monitor guest room blocks and special reservation needs.
Assign banquet/meeting rooms set up based on needs of clients.
Assist sales staff in promoting hotel, developing leads, and securing re-bookings.
Coordinate activities of various departments to service accounts.
Document tracking of group activity. Access and input data into a computer system to generate account history reports.
Analyze banquet event orders, to ensure that all room set-ups, equipment, supplies, staffing and menus meet/exceed customer's expectations.
Recommend, implement, monitor and control the banquet budget and coordinate with event budgets to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
Develop and implement, in conjunction with sales and convention services, special packages, and create new menus and themes within corporate guidelines.
Monitor and control the maintenance of the meeting space and equipment to protect hotel assets and ensure a safe work environment.
Responsible for overseeing forecasting and budgeting processes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to Noble House green program.
Perform other duties as requested by management.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
3-5+ years’ experience in Catering and CS.
Strong time management skills and proven demonstration of grace under pressure.
Experience in taking care of guests in a fast paced environment.
Flexible schedule availability.

Compensation & Benefits In return, you are rewarded with a competitive compensation package including competitive pay, health benefits, matching 401k, PTO, parking and meals. Salary $105,000-$160,000 yearly, includes base wages, incentives, fringe benefits.
