Category Buyer I
to support procurement activities across assigned categories and help ensure a reliable, cost-effective supply of goods. This role works closely with internal teams and suppliers to support category strategies, manage purchasing activities, and maintain quality, service, and cost expectations. Support category strategies aligned with business objectives Assist with supplier selection, onboarding, and relationship management Help negotiate pricing, terms, and volume commitments Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure timely delivery of goods Monitor supplier performance related to quality, service, and responsiveness Track market trends, pricing movements, and industry developments Analyze purchasing data to identify cost savings and improvement opportunities Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related role Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and purchasing or ERP systems Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities independently Preferred
