Role Purpose Statement We are seeking a hands‑on, energetic Operations Supervisor to lead our Assembly Department team. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing or production experience in a fast paced, high‑volume environment. The candidate must also be passionate about food safety, quality, and team development.

Main Accountabilities Supervisor Responsibility

Supervise thirty plus union employees responsible for preparing, assembling, and packaging food items in accordance with quality, safety, and sanitation standards.

Ensure meals are accurately prepared and presented for customers or further processing. Supervise daily operations to ensure timely and accurate production and flight catering.

Organize, schedule, and oversee shift staff to meet labor productivity targets and minimize overtime.

Conduct daily team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and safety reminders.

Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory and food safety standards, including FDA, USDA, OSHA, HACCP, and GMP.

Monitor safety performance and proactively address issues to maintain a safe work environment.

Identify, document, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Leadership

Guide, motivate and develop staff within the Human Resources policies.

Make the company's values and management principles live in the department(s).

Manage productivity hours and costs in the area of responsibility; initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations.

Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety and Production systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge required.

One to three years of related work experience required.

Problem–solving and leadership skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to develop and lead others to obtain desired results and achieve productivity goals.

Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, and EPA regulations.

Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills required along with the ability to multi‑task.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows‑based computer applications.
