As the Shift Leader You Will
Organize shift schedules for team members.
Monitor attendance, tardiness, and time off.
Assign duties to specific employees based on role and skills.
Supervise employees and assist with tasks as necessary.
Evaluate performance and share feedback with upper management and team members.
Train new and current team members on tasks.
Handle customer issues and manage conflicts.
Adhere to company policies and health, safety, and employment standards.
Uphold integrity and security with member documents and sensitive information.
Manage club cleanliness and maintenance to ensure all aspects of the club are in like-new condition.
Execute retail transactions with accuracy and drive sales goals in compliance with our PCI policy.
Requirements
Must be 18 years of age.
High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
Strong customer service skills.
Strong problem resolution skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to continuously talk in person or on the phone during shift.
Will occasionally encounter cleaning chemicals during shift.
This role is subject to successful completion of a background check after offer acceptance. All background screens will be conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
