As the full‑time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader’s "go‑to" in developing and implementing the merchandising strategy for the store. Your passion lies in training and coaching your team into great merchants who deliver AEO brand visual standards every day. Through your leadership, your team always nails floor‑set execution, excels in merchandising and marketing brand standards, and ensures the store is always "guest ready" through effective replenishment. You also represent our company values and bring your REAL self to work every day.
Responsibilities
Drive sales by maximizing fitting‑room and sales‑floor productivity, building guest loyalty, and analyzing reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions.
Coach your team to deliver an outstanding guest experience by keeping the store representative of AEO brand standards and leading day‑to‑day merchandising, sell‑through adjustments, and replenishment.
Motivate and inspire your team through AEO’s core values, ensuring they meet customer service standards on the sales floor and in the fitting room.
Recruit and hire strong talent, ensuring the store is staffed to meet business needs, and train and develop team members for outstanding service.
Provide ongoing performance feedback through real‑time coaching, development plans, and performance reviews, celebrating team achievements.
Execute and innovate daily operational procedures, maintaining visual standards across every zone in the store, especially ensuring fitting rooms are always guest‑ready.
Ensure store safety and asset protection standards are maintained, adhering to AEO policies and procedures and doing the right thing at all times.

You have led teams in a retail management role previously.
You can multi‑task, have strong attention to detail, and excel at priority‑setting and time management.
You know how to lead and develop teams and have a general understanding of employment law.
