Right-of-Way Agent – Gray Hawk Land Solutions
Gray Hawk Land Solutions is hiring a self‑starter Right‑of‑Way Agent in Colorado to negotiate surface agreements for pipelines.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain good relationships with surface owners, local government officials and agencies.
Represent the client and yourself with professionalism, integrity and the ability to diffuse tense situations quickly.
Negotiate terms for surface use agreements, pipeline rights‑of‑way easements and settle surface damages while ensuring necessary access to company assets.
Conduct internal and external title research in courthouses and client databases without supervision.
Use mapping software (GIS, Google Earth, deed plot creation) and interpret drawings, redline alignment drawings, certified property plats and construction access drawings.
Navigate multiple client databases and conduct online research.
Demonstrate excellent computer knowledge and effective use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Work well in a team environment or as an individual.
Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the right‑of‑way industry negotiating easements for pipelines.
Strong knowledge of surface use agreements, easements, pipeline ROW, surface titles and government laws/regulations related to right‑of‑way operations.
Ability to conduct title research and research in courthouses and online without supervision.
Proficiency in GIS, Google Earth, drawing interpretation and database navigation.
Bachelor’s degree, technical diploma or high school graduate.
Pay Rate Competitive 6-day per week pay rate.
