Job Summary The Assistant General Restaurant Manager works under the direction of the Restaurant General Manager to handle day‑to‑day operations, ensure the successful implementation of Church’s initiatives and programs, and achieve financial sales and profitability targets while meeting all banking, administrative, and compliance responsibilities.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
Assists RGM in ensuring all employees are trained and maintains appropriate staffing, preparing weekly schedules.
Helps staff during high‑volume periods as needed.
Manages paperwork, profit and loss statements, and inventory records.
Enforces all company policies and procedures and maintains compliance.
Ensures federal, state, and local laws and ordinances are practiced and enforced.
Maintains a clean facility and delivers consistent, high‑quality products daily.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements (Education, Qualifications, Experience)
Minimum 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of supervisory experience in the restaurant industry.
ServSafe® food safety training is highly recommended.
Position Qualifications / Functional Skills
Valid driver’s license and proof of valid insurance.
Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and flexible shift schedule, including weekends.
Knowledge of restaurant policies, operational and HR procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills and professional interaction at all levels.
Knowledge of profit and loss statements.
Ability to implement policies and procedures.
Coaching, counseling, and building strong work habits in employees.
Focus on continuous improvement of customer satisfaction.
Recruiting and interviewing potential team members.
Conflict resolution and team supervision.
Create and maintain a positive work environment.

Apply principles of food preparation and production per Church’s specifications.
Meet health, safety, and sanitation requirements in line with Church’s policies and regulations.
Follow cash and security procedures to maximize safety.
Maintain safe and obstruction‑free dining and work areas.
Drives Results
Set clear achievable goals and communicate each team member’s role.
Achieve results personally and by guiding teams, holding members accountable.
Use company tools to audit guest service and food safety practices.
Encourage staff to meet or exceed desired goals with appropriate techniques.
