Job Description The role of a caregiver at Golden Care is to provide high‑quality, non‑medical care and support services with professionalism, empathy, compassion, kindness, and respect. Responsibilities include:
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Ensure a safe environment for clients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia or related behaviors.
Assist with activities of daily living (personal hygiene, toileting, bathing, dressing, etc.).
Light housekeeping, laundry, and organization.
Meal preparation and feeding assistance.
Transfer and ambulation support.
Transportation to appointments, shopping, errands, outings.
Requirements to Apply
At least 3 months of professional caregiver experience.
Must be, or willing to register as, a California Home Care Aide (HCA).
Clear a criminal background check (DOJ/FBI).
Current negative TB test (or willingness to complete one).
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Minimum age 18.
Provide two forms of ID (driver’s license, social security, passport, birth certificate).
Responsibilities
Follow client care plans, safety precautions, and procedures.
Monitor and report any changes in client condition or health status.
Communicate effectively and respond to office communications promptly.
Skills Needed
Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
Professional appearance.
Kind, empathetic, compassionate, respectful, and positive attitude.
Passion for helping others improve their quality of life while maintaining dignity and confidentiality.
Comfortable using a smartphone for basic communication and documentation.
