Payroll Technician

9/80 (every other Friday off)
Duration:
Contract, 6-months
We’re looking for an experienced
Payroll Technician
to join our team! In this role, you’ll handle complex payroll processing and timekeeping for a government/union environment. This is more than just timekeeping—you’ll manage payroll records, audit data, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with MOUs and regulations.
What You’ll Do:
Process and maintain payroll records
Audit timekeeping and payroll data
Prepare reports for internal and external agencies
Provide technical support and training on timekeeping systems
Experience with government payroll, MOUs, and union timekeeping
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret policies
AA degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)
Skilled in payroll systems and Microsoft Office
