Silver Spring, Maryland – Travel Position
Cranial Technologies is the world’s leading expert in research, diagnosis, and treatment of plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and ear shape correction with EarWell®. With over 300,000 successful infant treatments, we have pioneered the use of orthotic and prosthetic technologies in pediatric cranial shaping.
Role Overview You will be a National Traveling Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist based in Silver Spring, MD. This full‑time role travels to any of our 32+ clinics across the United States. You will provide outpatient care for infants, shaping head and ear forms with DOC Band® and EarWell® orthoses.
Key Responsibilities
Travel to clinics on a weekly basis; typical schedule Monday–Thursday onsite, travel Sunday afternoon/evening, home Friday–Saturday.
Provide patient assessments, fit and management of orthotic devices for plagiocephaly and ear deformities.
Take over caseloads from other clinicians and build relationships with families and interdisciplinary teams.
Document treatment plans and progress in the company system with minimal paperwork.
Collaborate with pediatricians, parents, and internal training program mentors.
Qualifications
Certified Prosthetist‑Orthotist or Certified Orthotist with hands‑on clinical experience.
Background in pediatrics preferred; formal training program available.
Authorized to work in the United States; unwilling to sponsor employment visas.
Willingness to travel frequently and relocate near a major airport.
Compensation & Benefits Pay range $90,000 – $100,000, plus travel bonus, quarterly performance bonuses, and annual raises.
