Job Description The Security Supervisor directs and coordinates the activities of the Security Officers who actively engage in the execution of the CFI, Inc. security programs under the direction of the Director of Security and/or GM.
Duties
Include the following – as directed. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensure daily procedures and responsibilities for Security personnel are followed.
Ensure the Villa Maintenance system is kept current and correct according to procedures using the computer.
Direct and/or conduct internal criminal and civil investigations and act as a liaison to law enforcement and emergency services using the computer.
Manage government‑mandated safety and security programs, (such as blood‑borne pathogen and hazardous communications training) using the computer.
Interact and assist guests. Provide outstanding customer service to guests and resort visitors.
Respond to the flexible needs of the sales and marketing departments and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
Perform the following functions on the computer: type incident reports, read and respond to email, use Villa Maintenance, research safety standards and procedures, maintain security systems, and maintain electronic key control.
Ensure subordinates perform duties in accordance with corporate policies and state law regulating security officers.
Supervise and/or conduct incident investigations as required by policy using the computer. Respond to critical incidents and assume control of the incident scene, including fire alarms.
Oversee operation and maintenance of security systems, electronic lock security and key‑control access systems using the computer.
Write detailed and accurate reports in a timely fashion for daily review meetings. Incident reports must document crimes, internal investigations and any other required reports using the computer.
Responsible for resort surveillance (vehicle, foot, video), including pools and storage lots.
Coordinate and supervise special event security.
Perform the duties of subordinate officers as required; perform the duties of Security and Safety Director as required.
Attend and participate in operational, staff safety committee, and risk‑management meetings as directed.
Ensure Westgate Disaster Plans, emergency procedures, and standard operating procedures are followed. Use the computer to research these areas.
Drive company vehicles as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises team members at the location.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Train and coach team members.
Plan, assign, and direct work.
Appraise performance and reward team members.
Address complaints and resolve problems.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Follow instructions without close supervision.

Red Cross Certification, CPR, AED, First aid.
