Assistant Professor of Marketing (F99467)

at the Broken Arrow campus, beginning

August 2026 or sooner . The position carries a salary of

$93,710 . Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate marketing courses, sustaining a scholarly research agenda, contributing to AACSB‑aligned accreditation and Assurance of Learning processes, and supporting service, recruitment, and community outreach.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate marketing courses (Principles of Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Promotion, Professional Selling, and electives)

Sustain an active research agenda with peer‑reviewed outcomes appropriate for AACSB accreditation

Contribute to curriculum development, Assurance of Learning, and accreditation reporting (AACSB, HLC, OSRHE)

Supervise experiential learning projects, internships, client‑based work, and student organizations such as AMA

Support student advising, recruiting events, and community engagement

Collaborate with regional industry partners to enhance applied learning opportunities

Use technology and LMS platforms to deliver high‑quality, student‑centered instruction

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate in Marketing or closely related field from an AACSB‑accredited (or equivalent) institution (ABD considered if completed before start date)

Evidence of university‑level teaching effectiveness

Demonstrated potential for scholarly productivity

Ability to teach across multiple subfields of marketing

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

Completed doctorate by start date

Professional or consulting experience in marketing, analytics, or digital strategy

Established or emerging research pipeline

Experience with Assurance of Learning and accreditation processes

Experience with experiential learning and industry partnerships

Teaching experience across modalities (in‑person, hybrid, online)
