Route Service Driver- CDL or Class C w/tanker
Join United Site Services as a route service driver. The role involves operating a company service truck, traveling to various locations to pump, clean, and service portable restrooms and holding tanks. The position includes a $1,500 sign‑on bonus paid in four equal monthly installments over 12 months, and $375 every 3 months for external candidates.
Base Pay Range $19.49 – $26.32 / hour
Responsibilities
Perform basic service truck driving functions in accordance with USS and DOT requirements.
Perform all work duties safely in accordance with USS and DOT safety standards to prevent accidents or injuries.
Perform duties that include sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting/pushing between 50 and 150 lbs. frequently during a work shift.
Conduct portable toilets servicing to USS 8‑point service standard.
Provide customer service interactions on site to ensure customer expectations are met.
Be flexible when routes need to be adjusted or changed to meet customer needs.
Provide routing feedback to Operations Manager/Supervisor/Coordinator to maximize efficiency and deliver the best service possible.
Strategically plan for customer needs by discussing portable toilet requirements, ensuring current and future needs are satisfied.
Qualifications
Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
Valid Driver License (CDL or non‑commercial).
Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills.
Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
Physical Requirements
Sit while driving and stand while servicing products.
Use hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Repeat the same movements.
See details of objects that are less than a few feet away and also at greater distance.
Speak clearly so customers can understand.
Understand the speech of another person.
Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them.
Walk up to 30 minutes at a time without exertion.
Enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling.
Lift up to 40 lbs. from your waist to your shoulders.
Lift 30 lbs. from the floor to your head.
Crouch and squat.
Push 100 lbs. and pull 100 lbs. horizontally.
