Emergency Technician
– Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, Mission Hills, CA.
Full‑time position. 12‑hour night shifts.
Providence Holy Cross Medical Center is a four‑time designated Magnet® hospital, the highest recognition for nursing excellence in California.
Under the general supervision of the Emergency Department Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Resource Nurse, the technician performs basic emergency medical/trauma procedures and patient care as directed.
The technician demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to an assigned age‑specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics) and participates in related continuing education.

Required Qualifications
Completion of EMT‑1 training program or clinical experience.
MOAB Level I / II within 30 to 150 days of hire.
California Emergency Medical Technician license upon hire.
California Emergency Medical Technician Advanced license upon hire.
California Paramedic license upon hire.
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
California Fire and Life Safety Card – National Organization within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians upon hire.
1 year of patient care or clinical experience.
Experience in an emergency room setting.
